We will begin the day by visiting the Ati Pillahuasu Community Educational Center, in the same Kichwa Panecillo community to share recreational and artistic activities with the children.
Our trip continues with a panoramic tour of the mountains, during which we will share ancestral knowledge about the history, culture, and traditions of the Kichwa people of the region.
Our first stop is the viewpoint of the neighboring community of Yambiro, where we have started an agrotourism project. There you will learn about traditional agricultural methods and the rescue of native plants. Also, we will offer pamba mesa with a traditional meal (as a picnic), a culture transmitted from generation to generation.
Next, we will visit a guinea pig farm in the community of Panecillo, where the family will show us how to care for the guinea pigs and their nutritional properties.
This tour offers a true gateway to the daily life and work of Kichwa Otavaleño families.
